Portfolio is a hard nut to crack. I just sent them two settlement offers and asked in agreement to mark the account as paid in full and not as settled for less than. We will see what they say. I just want this paid and these guys off my back so they stop the constant updating.
And yes, like someone else said, they are sue happy.
I wish they had a policy like Midland Funding!
