they keep telling that there is nothing they can do until I wait until 45 days after my report is updated to "paid"

Mine is the complete opposite. It has been paid in full for almost 2 years and they still won't budge on deleting. It's my debt so I guess they don't have to but it would be nice :-)

Wow.  I mean what are they gaining by having this stay on someones CR even after its been paid in full?

Just got it removed last week send DV and now they sold it to common wealth financial!

Robert, no they haven't violated the federal laws, but TX has a law that they must respond within 30 days. I'm lucky I live here I guess Smiley Happy.
