Hi all

I got a charged off  list only in my exerian report. Date open 8/2001 and last report 4/22/08. I have no ideal who purchased my accoun. Since account is open back 2001 it qualified for SOL yet?

SOL is based on the DOFD not the date opened.  What is the DOFD?

NY is 6 yrs for CCs as I am aware of it. Please look up the thread - state resources.

Whats the DOFD - determines the CRTP

Whats the DOLA - ascertains the SOL. 

Quite likely that theres a CA involed right now. Whats the balance that the OC is reporting? Contact the OC and understand/obtain the current status of the a/c.

ahhh if DOFD then i got a long way to golook like its April 2007. But when i call capital one they cant find my account, i wrote them a letter, no respone. TI disputed with experian they said its belong to me. But i have no ideal who own that account now. anything i can do?
