Question about DV and PFD

If you PFD or DV with a CA but the OC has it listed as a charge off will both of them fall off your credit or will just the collections go away but the charge off will stay?

How would that increase your score if the CO is still there from the OC?  Or do CO's not affect your score that much?

Re: Question about DV and PFD

It will affect you score because that collection will be removed...one less collection on your report...CO does affect you credit A LOT...

If an OC and a CA is both listing, I'd try to work with the OC first, but if they have sold the account, then you'll have to deal with the CA.

If the CA accepts a PFD, they can only delete what they report.

You can always try sending a GW letter to the OC to have the account removed or the negatives removed.
