I've currently been working with Chase to get a charge-off removed from my credit report. They called me back and seem to be working with me (they didn't say no yet). They did say that they are working to pull the charge-off back from EAF and then they will proceed further in handling my case. My problem is, I have already paid off the full amount with EAF and they are deleting the TL from my credit report.
Can Chase still pull back a debt account that has been paid in full?
Also, has anyone had anything similar happen? What was the final outcome?
