Here's a thread about Re-aging, I thought might be helpful to you.

It talks about reaging,it's for an account prior to charge-off, if I'm reading it correctly.

 

I've been thinking of you this afternoon, about being afraid of calling and being sued.

And come up with, try contacting Discover don't tell them who you are. Ask questions about paying off a CO.

Ask if there is a certain number of months to pay off a debt, to avoid legal action.

 

Just a thought. I would read what others  have to say about Discover and their experiences .

Also watch the dates when searching the forums here.

Because things change over time, and what was accepted then,may not be accepted now, or vise versa.Smiley Wink
