Question about a deletion

I recently had a mistake on my credit report deleted by equifax. This account is listed on all 3 CRA's. Does the OC have to make the correction with the other 2 CRA's since it resolved through Equifax as a mistake and was deleted or will it remove from just Equifax and soldier onward on the other 2?

Did you dispute through EQ?   Was it deleted due to being a mistake or the creditor not responding?

It was through Equifax. It didnt give me much explanation except that "this item has been deleted from your file"

FYI, I disputed and had something deleted from Equifax, but come back as verified by the other 2.  So, maybe it was a timing thing?  Answer to your question is that if it's legitimate reporting, then they don't have to delete from 1 just because they deleted from a different credit bureau.
