If your doctor orders medical supplies for you, are you supposed to be able to choose your own durable medical equipment company? My doctor just signed me on for one. I was stupid, and in too much pain to think straight...but I never imagined how huge my co pays would get. Do I have a leg to stand on as far as having never given my signature agreeing to pay for any of the equipment? No signature was ever required the boxes just automatically showed up. I cannot get an explanation from CCS Medical on their math (sent a letter in August and a second one in November) so I reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau hoping they would be able to get some answers. Am I responsible if I didn't sign a contract? thank you.
