I had a student loan that I defaulted on (I know
) that has been paid. Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC), a student loan guarantor, is reporting . I disputed it thinking it was a duplicate (before I read all the info about SL reporting) and just received notice that they have changed the reporting. Before disputing it showed as an installment account now it is reporting as an open account. Which is accurate?
