Question on Target reconsideration after Paid charge off

I had a Target card I opened back in 2006, then I was late from late 2007 and once it was charged off in Jan of 2008 I paid it in full.  It is still on my reports obviously, but wanted to know if any one had any experience of Target forgiving and if so how soon after a charge off?  I always am shopping at Target and with the new incentives was playing with the notion of possibly re-opening it.  I did not want another inquiry for now, just throwing it out there.  If any one has any input thanks!

Re: Question on Target reconsideration after Paid charge off

You send them a GW letter, emphasizing  your prompt payment of the CO, and your cointinued business with them in the future.

Make them want to keep you as a customer.
That is there incentive for GW deletion.
