(3) total INQ's on each report.
I paid off an auto loan early in October, that has not updated yet because the CR's still show the September balance. One of the items it noted today as "red" was (2) of my cards reported a 0 balance. I pay my cards twice a month and always pay whatever the current balance is. So what is the trick to the timing of showing a really small balance to keep the UTI down? If it helps my cards are Wells Fargo, US Bank, and Capitol One.
Also have deal in writing for a PFD and waiting for that one to fall. Will my score drop much on paying off the auto loan?
Anyone please? If I am asking incorrectly please let me know so I may correct that.
Pay off all but 9% of the cards limit (or less) 3-5 days before the statement date. Then pay the rest 3-5 days after the statement date.
