Question regarding inquires

I have 12 inquiries that are on my credit report that are killing me. I just bought a new car and the dealer went to 8 or 9 different banks for the loan. Is there anyway to get some of these removed so they do not keep killing my credit?

the ones for the car loan will only count as 1 inquiry

Even thought it counts as one my credit report will still show 8 from banks for auto loans?

Yes, your CR will show all of them but they are only scored as 1 by FICO if they happened between 2 week and 45 days depending on the model used.

I have 14 inquiries on my CR and they havent lowered my score at all... i know that hard inquiries are bad but is this something i should really be worried about if its not lowering my score?
