I have a couple of questions going over my credit report
Experian on AMEX Card has a late 90 plus days 1 time for April of 2016 the month that i filed for Chapter 7
Is this something i can fight or leave it alone. Equifax and Trans Union are not reporting the same thing....Experian also reporting the same thing on 2 other chase cards and a macys card and a toyrs r us card this way.
Also that same account in status it says debt included in or discharged through bankruptcy but in remarks it says account closed at credit grantors request. All of the accounts are closed and state 0 Balance.
Is this what they are suppose to say.
One other thing Equifax has the Discover Card account open but its status included in bankruptcy - do i need to get it closed.
Thanks for any info that you can provide
Scores EQ 611, TU 580 and EXP 618
Welcome to myFICO! EQ and TU both delete payment history when you file BK, EX does not. Creditors would be allowed to report any lates up until you file, just nothing after your file date. The remarks "closed at grantor's request" do not impact scoring so don't worry about that.. For Discover, I would guess that it just hasn't updated yet. I had a Cap1 account say it was open for about 2 months and then updated.
So should i just leave the one time 90 day late payment alone on those cards for Experian or should i try and fight it and get it removed otherwise things look good.
