Some of my damage is through just "wtf was i thinking", but some of it is "if i HAD the money, this wouldn't have ended up here" (when they tow your car for not being in spectacular shape and being an eyesore, then charge you by the day to store it....)

The older the debt, the closer to SoL (or, better, past SoL), the less you need to offer in a PfD.  The higher the % you offer, the better your chances.  But I still recommend sending DVs to hopefully inspire settlement offers - that will give you an idea of what they're willing to take.
