Quick Question

On average (unless there is an exact number), when a credit card company (capital one and barclays in my case) does the HP, regardless of the approval, about how many points does your score really get dinged?? thanks in advance!

Usually 3-5 points. It's really very little, and INQs are a small percentage of your FICO scores, only 10%.

 

[EDIT] Also, INQs only stay on your report for 2 years.
