Quick question about inquiry dispute...

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or could suggest what I should do about an inquiry dispute...

I sent an inquiry dispute to Landsafe via CMRRR

They sent a letter requesting my complete name, address, and social security number.

Should I respond with the requested information?  Are they allowed to ask for that information if they already have my complete name and address?

I did not authorize the inquiry.

Personally I wouldn't give my SS#.   I didn't give it to them the first time, I won't give it to them now.

Macy's did that to me once. I made a copy and sent it to the reporting credit bureau and it was deleted.  Or you can just send the a copy of the page of credit report wih inquiry and black out all other info.
