Re: RJM ---->> Jefferson Capital offering "Fresh Start"

I actually accepted this offer and they did as promised.  Before I paid I got everything in writing though.  It is actually legit.  From those that did the googling they probably where looking at the fresh start program when Jefferson Capital was affliated with Compuserve.  But first hand experience my credit score was below 500 and that unsecured card increased my score up greatly which enabled me to get my BofA and Cap1 card.

Re: RJM ---->> Jefferson Capital offering "Fresh Start"

I accepted their offer 2 years ago and I haven't had any problems.  I paid $256 and my line of credit with the new card was $755.  I've been paying on time every since.  The only down fall with this is they currently do not offer credit line increases because of the economy.

Re: RJM ---->> Jefferson Capital offering "Fresh Start"

I accepted this offer a year ago and never had any problems with Jefferson Capital. The emblem card push my scores up also and they report every month wich helps me out. They don't currently allow credit increases; but I like them and never had any problems. If you want to just settle the debt & be done with it I would agree to the program.

I am glad the 3 of you had good luck with them

But I will never trust a CA

I found the complaints ranging from 4 years to just a month or so ago

Re: RJM ---->> Jefferson Capital offering "Fresh Start"

It's nice to see that they were honest with the few of you who took them up on the offer. =)

I was able to qualify for an unsecured sub-prime card from Orchard Bank ($300 CL), and a secured card from Capital One last month. Those new credit lines raised my score a bit because prior to that I had no revolving credit. I don't really need another card at this time (holding out for Amex next year, lol), so maybe their offer wasn't right for me.

Re: RJM ---->> Jefferson Capital offering "Fresh Start"

I also got a letter from these corporatist jerk-offs Smiley Mad

I, however, did mail them back. Inserted in their "billing form" I kindly left a note, in place of a check, which stated:

"Thanks but no thanks d*ckheads. Thank you for contributing to the destruction of the US middle class; i will be reporting you to the BBB and plastering your company & your bullsh*t tactics to buy your yahts and multiple town houses all over the internet and various forums. Have a WONDERFUL day! ~Matt"

Smiley LOL
