Rebuilding and Removing School Loans

I am in the process of trying to rebuild my credit.  I have about 9 120 day lates from each of the three credit agencies.  I am not deneying that these are mine becuase I was out of work for 15 months.  Yes they are mine.  The questions is; is it possible to have these things removed from your CR?

I can't say it's not possible but I can definitely say it will be hard to do.

Re: Rebuilding and Removing School Loans

The Higher Education Act mandates the reporting of delinquencies on federal student loans.

However, there are rehab programs that are specifically provided in order to obtain removal of delinquencies on federal student loans.

Basically, if you make 10 consecutive, timely payments, the derogs can be removed.

I suggest you google on how to rehab a federal student loan.

If the loan is private, then you can, once returned to good-standing, request good-will deletion from the creditor.
