I got an alert on a new collection on my credit file.
I found out the new collection agency does not have the file any longer,
but they wont remove it from my credit file. How will I be able to get it removed...
The debt is paid directly to the original creditor...

The original creditor (ATT) did not list the debt on credit bureau
only the collection agengy did
So my question is since the debt was paid directly to the original creditor (ATT)
can I have the credit bureaus remove the collection agencies listing since the debt was paid and they were not the listing agency did and does not have the account, they lost the account.

Send them a GW and ask that they remove it.
