Rebuilding with secured card

I was just approved for the discover it secured card. Recieved message that after they recieved my funds I would recieve my card in a week. That seems pretty quick. Can anyone else tell me how long the process takes before they debit your account for the deposit and you recieve your card... I am so impatient.

I responded to my offer on a Wednesday. They withdrew the funds two days later on a Friday. I recieved my card 5 days later the following Thursday. The entire process took 8 days from application to card in hand. Congratulations!

Thanks for the info Mabellives & the congrats from both you and J91605. I am very excited about getting my foot in the door with Discover. I plan to pay off lots of debt and get this card unsecured in 12 mos.
