Rebuilding

I am in the process in rebuilding my credit and I want to know how do I go about changing some recent delinquent 30 day 90 and 120 marks on my capital one card opened in 2012

Re: Rebuilding

GoodWill letters are about the only thing you can do. Try to find and email or address for a higher up in Cap1. It might take several tries to get them deleted if they ever do get deleted. Otherwise they'll come off your reports 7 years after they happened

Re: Rebuilding

You can try GW, but Cap1 is not usually very generous with recent negatives. The only thing that will repair accurate info on a report is time. Keep making all your payments on time and wait for the negatives to age.

Re: Rebuilding

As suggested try the GW. It certainly will not hurt anything and you have nothing to lose.

Here is a thread about good will letters, remember the forums have a search feature this took about 10 seconds to find. http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/General-Credit-Topics/GW-Example-Letters/m-p/4521#M127809
