The OC had the DoFD of 10/12 What state are you in? They violated a bunch of FDCPA laws and FCRA laws.

Those dates do not mean anything as far as the exlusion date.
Date opened is the date the CA acquired the debt. The rest of the dates, all the same, are the dates they reported to the CRAs, status of the account on the date reported and when it was last reported.
I don't see anywhere that they are saying the DoFD is 3/2013.
I am in FL.
I assumed the date opened would have been the DOFD, no where on that report I pulled up did it say DOFD, to me it just looks like its a newer debt when it isn't. DOFD from what the OC says was either 10/12 or 07/2012. Two different CSR said two different dates earlier today.
Do I have any options left? :\
There can only be one DoFD from the OC. Where did you pull the reports from?
I pulled the above from experian.com. I called the OC for the DOFD I don't think the second person I spoke with knew what I was talking about since I had another CSR say it was 10/2012 as well. The OC never reported to the cra's.
Experian has drop off dates. I think to find that you would need to pull up a dispute report to check that date.
Oh ok, will TU or EQ show the DOFD?
Only EQ will list a DOFD. TU and EX will list a date this is expected to be removed. You would count back 7 years from that to get your DOFD.
I agree with guiness, with that posting, there's no indication of the DOFD which would set the SOL and the CRTP. Date opened is the date the CA got the debt, this has nothing to do with starting the clock. You will need to pull a more accurate report.
Ok thanks. I've signed up for EIDT so when that comes through I will update you all here and see what can be done.
Sounds good. Get that done so we can get the ball rolling!!!!!
