Redemption

I got a derog off me report thanks to myfico forum members help and now my credit has been restored.  It's a wonderful feeling and I wish all of you success.  Here is a graph of my journey:

To help others - what was the derog and what did you do to get it off?

It was a debt collection over 190 days for a bill that wasn't mine from when I was in the hospital, some kind of screw up that ruined my credit for two years.  The board told me to to a DV and CFPB complaint.  I decided against the DV and just did the CFPB complaint.  I filed it on a sunday and my credit was clean by monday.  All three.  Also, the reason my score is higher than before is while my credit was 600, I applied for and got a walmart store credit card.  I use it for gas only and pay it off early each month and the increased my limit and I think helped my score.  That's my story, I learned it all on this board.
