Remind me?

Sigh ... I haven't been working on our credit cleanup as hard as I should be. I am dedicating every Thursday from now until the end of time to get it finished.

Can you remind me the best way to deal with medical debts after they are verified? The Hippa process scares me a bit. I only deal and pay the provider, correct? Not the CA?? I got a letter from a CA demanding payment or they will file a judgement over $39.09 (so, so, so, so stupid). The debt was verified as mine. Send cashiers check to provider??

Thanks. So much.

Re: Remind me?

I would suggest Google at this point. You won't get any help about HIPPA here. Sorry.

Re: Remind me?

I don't want to do HIPPA.

I just want to pay it the proper way. It's only $39.09

Re: Remind me?

Pay it and GW it later to get it removed then.

Re: Remind me?

The CA at this point since they own the debt. You can try the provider and ask they pull the account back from collections and they may,  but they are not obligated to.
