Removed collection reopened

Hello y'all!

I was checking out my credit report on CreditKarma and noticed that a time warner bill from some years back was removed from my report July 13, 2014 and also reopened by a different collection agency the same day.

Can they do that if it was removed?

If the DoFD is less than 7 years ago and they have collection authority they can do whatever they want except report inaccurate information.
