Any mortgage lender do not like them on there. I would call the CRA's to have them remove. If they don't do it then you will need to contact the creditor.
If you opened the dispute you can call the CRAs and have it removed. If it was a creditor, call them and let them know you are no longer disputing and please remove them.
AFAIK, no type of mortgage lender likes them.

I went on a disputing spree along time ago, didn't do any good on valid debts, only made them re report, wishing I hadn't done that, oh well, some of the toughest lessons learned are the best remembered!!
Very, very true.
If you dispute via a CRA, they and they alone are the party who concludes the dispute by way of sending of the Notice of Results of Reinvestigation.
It should be an automatic part of their resolution of the dispute to clear the pending dispute flag, but unfortunately, it is often not done.
I would send them a complaint (not a dispute), reminding them of their responsibility to maintain accurate credit files.
If they dont promptly comply, I would suggest a followup complaint to the FTC.
As an aside, they are required to post the result of the dispute, not delete reference to one having been filed.
A couple of years ago I sent a GW letter to Central Financial Control to ask them to delete a collection that I had paid. In my letter I specifically stated that I wasn't disputing the information, I was asking them for a goodwill deletion of the collection. Well they didn't delete it, and they noted it "consumer disputes this account information" and it is still there. What should I do to get the comment removed?
If you just want the dispute removed, you can call them and advise them you are not disputing this and to please removed it from your CR. I had to do this with my mortgage.
