Request for credit report denied.

 I tried pulling my credit report on annualcreditreport.com but my request was denied. I have to send a letter by mail to get my credit report. This is a normal ?

it is because you failed to answer correctly the verifying questions that were asked...I had that happen to me as well...

This happened to me with Equifax.  I was able to order thru the automated system via phone.  See if there is a number on the annual credit report site, as I believe that is the number I was given to call.
