RequestintgPorfolio Recovery & Sarma Collections Info

Good morning Fico'ers.

I could use some help. I am hoping someone has creditor information for the following: (And can please PM any contact information they may have, either email or physical address.

Wait. 1st things 1st. Is it better to call & speak to someone when requesting a PFD? Should I expect to pay the full amount?

Here is who I'm looking for:

Sarma

I C System

and I have 2 different Portfolio's showing up on  my report. Same debt, different account #'s, Both are reporting.

Portfolio and Portfolio Recovery (I have my notes at home, so I can't remember off the top of my head, but I called one of them last week and the guy gave me a spill about them not PFD'ing because they have to report accurately to the credit bureau .. My question how do I respond to them when they come back with that?

I would appreciate any help I can get with the above. They are holding us back in our quest for a house.

Thank you all so much !!!!

Unfortunately, I dont have an contact information for you.  When I was seeking out PFD's I had the best luck with phone calls and fax.  When they tell you that they are required to report accurately let them know that though they are required to report accurately that you arent asking them to report inaccurately, youre asking them to not report at all.

Oh I like that response.

This just came to my head...Aren't they reporting incorrectly to begin with because my debt wasn't to them to begin with? It was to the hospital or Dr.

LOL It would be great if it worked that way.  Its funny how debt can be sold and traded as though it were a chicken that could feed the hungry.

Re: RequestintgPorfolio Recovery & Sarma Collections Info

I.C. Systems will delete after you pay the baddie. I goggled and found their email, fax and address. No one specific...just the main info. on the site. The account was years old and reporting as $0. I sent the letter and off it went. Portfolio is another story...by far the worst CA ever. I accepted their settlement and PIF. Waiting on GW response as we speak...
