hi I have 2 accounts with rssi receivable solution specialists, inc. I have sent them debt validations last month which they validated them in the mail. well 1 is for when i had insurance but was a billing issue with insurance co & original creditor, so i will contact original creditor & insurance co to try to handle this one, next is one for my wife that she didn't have insurance @ the time. well bottom line is even after getting my debt validation letter & they acknowledged receiving it which they did validate it in the mail, it also said all further contact must be my mail & not phone calls, which lady on phone agreed. well anyways they continue to call me sometimes as much as 2 times per day, are they violating any laws by not allowing me 30 days to review info they sent me or by me telling them not to call me anymore. plus i read some where that if they call you during debt validation period, that is an fdcpa violation. so can i then use this as leverage to get them to settle & delete off credit reports if i tell them i'm gonna file complaints with states attorney generals office, bbb & ftc. thanks ron.
