Many people confuse SOL with CRTP.
SOL = statute of limitations: The time period during which one has to sue you over a debt.
CRTP = credit reporting time period: The time period during which an item can remain on your credit report.
The two are not the same thing.
Thanks for the info... Even with the clarification I'm still happy!!!!!!!! Because after SOL is up there's really no reason why a creditor would keep an account on my CR paid in FULL with a zero balance - It's not really to anyone's advantage... Maybe since SOL is up I can talk them into taking it off sooner!!! Thanks guys!!!!!

You are confused.
The SOL has virtually zero to do with credit bureau reporting.
It is the credit bureaus that keep a closed account on your credit reports and they will generally do so for the full length of the CRTP. Even if you dispute the tradeline, the creditor will, regardless of the SOL, verify the data as accurate. Their logic is that by accurate reporting for the full term of the CRTP they protect other creditors from being deceived into thinking one is a good credit risk.
Glad to know that the SOL for FLorida is 5 years.
What's the CRTP for Florida?

It's the same almost everywhere. Depending on the type of debt, from 7 to 7.5 years usually.
