I have some new collection accounts showing up... most of which are medical bills my question is for example one of them the original date of service (bill date) was back in 2004 which is past our 7 year sol in washington state. does the SOL begin from first activity (back in 2004) or when it first reports as a collection account (12/2012)?

The SOL and the CRTP is always set with the OC. It is set when the account first went bad and was never brought back to current.

By showing up do you mean sending you letters or on your credit report? By my terrible math it's been 8 years so I assume not on your CR? But +1 with Shogun's post.
