SOL reached, CO dropped, will it ever be back again?

Hello All Members,

Here are two facts, please let me know based on these...if a fallen off CO will ever be back on my CR.

1.)I had a CO from chase, lost track of the CAs who were trying to collect. I have an inquiry(HP) from Asset Management who aparantly trying to collect the debt from me.

2.)Chase just knows that it was sold and it has been 10 years. Chase approved me for Chas Freedom for $300.

Thank you all... biton

There are actually 2 answers to your question.

Will it show back up on your CR?  The answer is no.  Once it has passed the CRTP it cannot "legally" be placed back on your CR.

Will they still try to collect it?   Maybe/probably.  The debt doesn't go away until paid.  They can still try to collect, however once it has passed the SOL and the CRTP they cannot sue you nor can it show on your CR.
