i have already disputed it and the CRA stated it remains which is not right.
the account is not being reported accuratly.
i have paid the account.
the CA also states the account has been paid and should be closed.
i dont even know what to do at this point.
OP you should file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You can send a complaint to them online. I did and it was resolved in 4 days including the account being adjusted with all 3 reporting agencies. You can choose to include the creditor and/or the credit reporting agency in the complaint.

so i finally heard back from comenity about this whole situation. i talked to one of their managers and he said that they contacted the CRA and have updated the accounts to be accurate. hopefully this will bump my score being that it will delete about 8 months of late payments they have reported incorrectly.

OP did you file the complaint with CFPB? If so, did the creditor reach out to you before or after you filed?
i decided to give them a few days before i filed a complaint. luckily they contacted me before. this has been a hell of a struggle.
