So after attempting to speak to these people on what it seems like a billion different occasions, I contacted BBB and let them know they had verbally agreed to delete any negatives on the accounts, but didn't do so after I paid.  It took them about two weeks to respond and I recieved two letters saying they would contact all 3 Bureaus and have these accounts deleted!

Curious but I have an account with Asset and the agreed to delete the TL....did you get that agreement and they didn't do so, then you had to go to the BBB?

Yes, they agreed to delete it but never did!  This was back in November 2007.  So recently I made several phone calls to no avail.  So next step was to go with BBB

I see...Let me ask you a question.. Cause I have a really bad feeling about that company...

Did they send you a letter stating that they would delete the account? 

Which state did you file a complaint with for the BBB? I think they are in Michigan...Did you do this on line?

Did you ever contact the CRB's to dispute?

Any help would be appreciated...

I contacted the BBB in Michigan online. AAC sent me a letter via email saying they would request the removal of its tradeline will all 3 Bureaus. I disputed it several times and it always came back as verified. I checked reports and they have all been deleted!

Congrats! I have a follow up question.  Regarding the Better Business Bureau.... do you contact the main office or do you contact the BBB in the state where the collection agency is located?

The state where the collection agency is from... and thank you! It is a HUGE relief to have them deleted!
