I have an issue and I was wondering if I can get some help. I recently took a look at my creditreports and noticed that Sallie Mae reported me 60day late for the month of Oct. I called them and after 2weeks of research they realized it was an error on their part. They have provided me with a letter stating that it was an error by themand that I was actually current. The letter was signed by sombody in the customer advocate dept. The also submitted a retraction to all credit B's . What do I do now? Should I wait on the retraction? Or, do I send the letters out to all 3 credit B's myself? Please help. thanks

CR updates can take up to a month, sometimes a bit longer. I'd wait at least that long before submitting the letter to the CRAs. IME, EX is very fast to update, TU takes a bit more time, and EQ takes a long time. YMMV.
