Hi everyone!
On my Experian report, I have Macy's appearing twice - same account number - once under the "negative items" column and once under the "good standing" column.... very confusing.

Send a dispute to the CRA under FCRA 611(a)(1) of accuracy of items in your CR, accompanied by those portions of your credit report. The two are clearly contradictory, and one must be inaccurate.
Let the CRA reinvestigate and give you their version of what occured.
OP, I wouldn't dispute. If the lates are accurate then likely Macys would delete the good account and verify the bad. You wouldn't want that. If I had that, I'd call Macys. The CSRs I talked to in the past are very knowledgable. I once had an extra Macys TL report in error and I called. They had the power right then and there to delete, or so they offered. I waived because I figured it would help my AAoA in the long run. But I'd call them and have a candid conversation. At the worst, you could ask for GW over the phone. But I bet if you dispute, they'll delete the good one if the lates are accurate.
