That's what I was talking about the cease and desist. That's not a robocall scam just trying to spook old people into giving them bank account numbers, it's someone directly targeting you. You know as well as I do they can't actually do anything, but if it ever was a real loan they are still able to try and collect indefinitely until you tell them in writing to stop.
The "lower your payment" scam robocalls on the other hand are a joke. I make sure to always press the number to speak with a representative just to waste their time since they wasted mine. Sometimes I have fun and see how long I can keep them on before hanging up on me, I think my record is 9 minutes.
