Score Bump & Negative TLs & CCs - Advice

I currently have a 620 FICO EQ, which should go up to high 600s by end of this month.  I currently have: 24 negative TLs (all from default student loan- rehab completed mid 2012), & last TL in CO deleted (early May 13').   I've sent GW letters to DOE for neg TL deletion, but denied.  My question is....how is how portfolio would look to prime CCCs if I have a mid-high 600s or low 700 scores with these neg TLs?   My util should be 2~3% by end of this month.  Even with my score going up, I don't know if I should stay in the garden for another 1-2 years, or start app'ing when I see my score up in the mid-high 600s.

Re: Score Bump & Negative TLs & CCs - Advice

Credit worthiness/decisions are not based on scores alone.  They consider everything.  Some creditors are more forgiving/lenient with past mistakes, some aren't.

Before applying for anything I would do some research on the cards you want and find out as much as you can about what their requirements are.
