Score drops after disputes?

I disputed two different accounts on ky credit report. One for a student loan on a late payment and the other a collection that showed open when it was not. Now, I got an email today about a change in score. My score dropped from a 532 to a 470. What happened that caused this drop?

Re: Score drops after disputes?

When you dispute an OC account, like the student loan, certain aspects of the TL are removed from scoring during the dispute.  This could have caused your score to drop.  When the dispute is resolved it will either go back to pre-dispute score or go up or down, depending on the outcome of the dispute.

CAs are never removed during a dispute and are fully scored.

Gotcha.  I disputed that I was on deferment at the time that one payment showed 60 days late.  If they decided against me for whatever reason is it going to hurt my score?
