I tried paying a company to repair my credit, but I found that the company was disputing valid debts that reappeared on credit report....In 2015 I took it upon myself to work on my credit.
I paid of 12k of collections & PFD, and paid off credit cards....I have two charge off accounts that will be removed, and a total of 9 late payments from Navient that will be removed (still waiting for these to update)

Congrats to you! Good for you to decide to clean up your credit yourself. It feels better , more like a true accomplishment, when you do it yourself. I cleaned my credit up and went from TU 470, EQ 489, EX 499 to my current scores, within a years time, of TU 620, EQ 606, EX 640. I think it felt even better knowing I did it on my own. So congrats to you. Keep it up. Your scores will grow even more.
