Secured Credit Card

Hi everyone.

So I was able to get myself a secured credit card with BoA. Should I get another one from another bank? Would that accelerate my rebuilding process? I know it's pretty much a waiting game now, as I was told by the BoA agent that my secured credit card is slated to graduate within a year, if everything checks out fine.

My apologies for asking this question. I was gonna comb through the stickies and threads, but I wanted to be more vocal in the forums. Thanks a lot.

Re: Secured Credit Card

Hello.

Since you're rebuilding, I would recommend that you get one more credit card and at least one installment loan. Paying on both of those and keeping your usage between 1-9% a month on ONE card and a zero balance on the other would be great.

While you're gardening your new cards, you can work on the other debts you have.
