Just a quick question...Is it ok to send a DV to a collection agency using your social if you dont have an account number?

NO NO NO never senda collection agency anything of info about you. No social or birthdate if they sent you a dunning use name only no prior addresses or anything .

+1 Never give them any information they don't already have. How did you find out about the debt? Is it on your CR? Is there a partial number on your CR? If there is, your name and the partial account number will suffice.
