I'm going to send out my first PFD letter.. I'm going to start out with the oldest collection account because I'm sure they would be more willing to delete it since it's my oldest collection account. Does sending out a letter open things back up? I feel like if I do it I'm gonna open up an old wound and it's going to make them start calling and everything again. Everyone has been quiet lately... and will this have any impact on my credit report?
