Sent AmEx a GW letter for removal

Hello folks!

Title says it all. Had an AmEx account from 2006/2007, that was scheduled to come off anyway in late 2013. The account was deliquent, and I settled for less than the original balance. In an effort to clean up my account, I sent a GW letter to Amex. Got the response today saying - completed investigation of FCRA dispute, consumer disagrees and have instructed CRA listed belore to report as such. The account identifier number and the AmEx account numbers seem to be different.

What does this mean, anyway? Is this good, or is this bad?

Thanks!

They took your GW as a dispute, which it clearly was not.  You will need them to remove those comments.

As for the different account numbers should not be different.  They should be the same as what is on your CR.  I would ask them about that.
