Sent DV letter. Creditor replied with proof but not my signature.

The creditor sent the proof but on the contract, it is clearly not my signature. My name is even spelled incorrect.

how do I handle this?

What are the next steps I need to take?

If it's not your account, you need to file an identity theft report with your local law enforecement agency.

Ditto. Call the police if the account isn't yours. You can use that police report to get it off your reports.

Frame the letter or proof they sent you.
