Sent NCO Financial a DV...

[ Edited ]

They received it on 4/6 and it looks like, as of today, they deleted the TL from my Experian report!

What should I expect next????

EDITED TO ADD: Experian was the only CRA they were reporting on...fyi.

I'd expect a deletion off EQ and TU soon too (assuming it reported and not off yet).

They probably sold the debt or passed it back to the OC. I'd either wait it out or pay off the OC if they get the debt back.

Re: Sent NCO Financial a DV...

I sent them one a few weeks ago and nada. They are not reporting though and the OC still holds the debt. I contacted the OC who verified they are servicing the debt. It's supposed to age off in 7 months anyways...but obviously the recent activity to improve our credit has caused people to come out of the woodwork.

2/24 (Lender Pull) EQ 613, TU 553, EX 589
April EQ 633, My Fico TU 638, EX ??
Current EQ 643, TU 652, EX 633 (lender pull 5/11)
Goal (we made it!!)- Over 640 middle by 5/15

The debt is not dead, so a new debt collector could become involved and report, starting the process anew.
