A week or two ago I got a letter from a lawyer offering to represent me in the case which had been filed against me. Crap. Looked it up and it was through a local lawyer for Cach for an alleged debt of around 11k supposedly from BOFA.
I fired off a PFD to cach offering them about 25% of that balance. A day or two later got served. Haven't gotten anything back from Cach on this yet. Pondering fighting vs settling. Probably going to hire a lawyer this week. Just wondering if anyone here has any insider info they could share in pm.
