Settled with HSBC

Hello, anyone who can help.  I settled with HSBC in 2008, and I did not get a pay to delete agreement.  How can I go about getting this taken off my credit reports?  Should I try a DV, or should I just go with a GW letter to the higher-ups?  Any assistance you can give will be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Re: Settled with HSBC

You are now restricted to GW attempts.

HSBC is an OC, and not a debt collector.  You cannot DV an OC.  Even if you could, debt validation would be simple.

"We validate that the debt is $0."
