Settled.

OC Dofd Feb 2007. CO first report date Aug 2011. Settled with CO 2days ago. Will credit score do down? If so, how much? Trying to rebuild credit to buy a house in Feb 2013.

Hopefully it won't go down, maybe go up a bit.  Funny how these work sometimes.  You'd have to have that paid off for your mortgage anyway.  Now you need to GW that paid account!

It shouldn't go down but you will have a HUGE black mark on your CR

The CO is being factored into you utilization and killing your score. While it will help you score, like others have said, there will be a black mark.
