Tomorrow I'm calling a CA to make an offer for a settlement. I don't want to pay too little to where they can send me a 1099 (I think that's the form?) later. As long as it's under $600, they can't do that ... correct? So if I owe $1600 and offer $1000, I think I would be in the clear. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
